But for my HR students, I define it more simply:<\/p>\n

\u201cA growth mindset means treating every challenge as a classroom.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In our HR courses, we study how people grow inside organizations \u2014 through training, performance reviews, and continuous feedback.
But that same process applies to you<\/em> as a learner.
When you accept that skills can be built, not just possessed, your confidence multiplies.<\/p>\n

How I See It Happen Every Semester<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Every year, I notice two types of students.
Some hesitate to take initiative because they\u2019re afraid of mistakes.

    Here are some habits I recommend to my students (and often practice myself):<\/p>\n

      Reflect on mistakes.<\/strong> When something goes wrong, ask \u201cWhat did I learn?\u201d instead of \u201cWhy me?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Celebrate effort.<\/strong> Recognize your own consistency, not just achievements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Surround yourself with learners.<\/strong> Growth is contagious \u2014 stay near people who push you to think differently.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      In Saudi Arabia, where Vision 2030 is transforming industries rapidly, the graduates who adapt fastest will succeed the most.

      That means your career success will depend less on what you already know \u2014 and more on how fast you can learn, unlearn, and relearn.<\/em><\/p>\n

      A growth mindset prepares you for that future.<\/p>\n

      When I think about my own students preparing to step into their first HR jobs, I often tell them this:<\/p>\n

      Measure it by how open you are to what you can learn tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      So as you begin this week, ask yourself:
      What one new skill, habit, or idea will I practice \u2014 not to impress others, but to grow myself?<\/p>\n

      Because that\u2019s where real readiness begins.<\/p>\n
